1. Research and Selection
We identify products, services and tools that are relevant to our audience, focusing on quality, popularity and potential value. We consider our readers’ needs, industry trends and real-world relevance when choosing what to review.
-
2. What Each Review Is Based On
Today every review on this site is research only. It summarises the vendor’s own pages, documentation and other public information, and says so in a “How this review was made” box at the top. If we create an account and test a tool ourselves later, the review will say what we did and for how long.
-
3. Evaluation Criteria
We assess each product or service against a consistent set of criteria, including features, ease of use, value for money, customer support and overall performance.
What each criterion means:
- Features: what the tool does that matters for affiliate work (pages, email, checkout, tracking), checked against the vendor’s feature pages.
- Ease of use: how much a beginner has to learn before publishing, judged from the vendor’s documentation and onboarding.
- Value for money: what the entry plan includes for its price, such as contacts or funnels per dollar, using prices that carry a check date.
- Customer support: the support channels the vendor lists (chat, email, help docs, community).
- Overall fit: who the tool suits and who it does not.
-
4. Comparison and Analysis
We compare the product with similar alternatives in the market, highlighting strengths, weaknesses and key differences to help you make an informed decision.
Writing your own comparison? Our free Honest Affiliate Comparison Workbook uses the same rule: label each claim as documented, personally checked or unknown, and say who each option suits, including when neither fits.
-
5. Real-World Experience
When we have used a product, the review shares practical insights: what we liked, what could be improved and who it suits best. We also consider feedback from other users and the wider community, and say when we do.
-
6. Ongoing Updates
Products and services change over time. We revisit our reviews to keep the information accurate and relevant, and each review shows when it was last checked.
-
7. Transparency and Integrity
We are transparent about our affiliate relationships. If a review contains affiliate links, we disclose this at the beginning of the article. Our opinions are our own, and we do not accept payment for positive reviews. Read our affiliate disclosure.
