Compare cash due over the same hosting period

Copy two current checkout quotes in the same currency. Include the renewal billing term, not just its monthly equivalent. This compares planned charges; it does not rank hosting performance.

Start with the published USD figures

Checked November 1, 2026. These are editable starting figures, not a live checkout quote. Match the exact plan and term at checkout; regional prices, currencies and offers can differ.

  • Quote A — Hostinger Premium: $2.49 per month for 48 months, or $119.52 paid initially. The listed renewal is $10.99 per month for the same 48-month term: $527.52 at renewal, before other charges.
  • Quote B — Bluehost Starter: $3.99 per month for 36 months, or $143.64 paid initially. The listed renewal rate is $9.99 per month. Confirm the renewal billing term at checkout; the pricing card does not establish it.

Sources: Hostinger’s published plan terms and Bluehost’s published plan terms. Prices below in the original review retain their own dates.

Hostinger’s included domain and mailboxes are free for the first year. Budget subsequent charges separately. For both hosts, check taxes, optional extras and any migration overlap. The loader leaves both “other charges” boxes and Bluehost’s renewal term empty so you can enter confirmed amounts.

Check the plan that fits your site

Use the total alongside storage, backups, support and migration requirements. A lower cash total alone does not make a host the right choice. Confirm the displayed plan and full payment before ordering.

Worked example and calculation without JavaScript

Fictional quotes, not Bluehost or Hostinger prices. A is 3 × 36 months = 108 paid initially, then 12 × 12 = 144 at renewal. B is 2 × 48 = 96 initially, then 11 × 12 = 132 at renewal. With no other charges, the first 48 months require 252 for A and 96 for B. The renewal exactly at month 48 falls outside that period.

Count every whole renewal charge due before your horizon ends. A 24-month renewal starting at month 36 is charged in full even when you compare only 48 months. Unused prepaid months are not automatically refundable.

Keep the quote URL, currency, capture date, exact plan and cancellation/refund terms beside the result. Check Bluehost’s current pricing and Hostinger’s current pricing. The dated comparison below is not a live checkout quote.

Do not buy a second hosting plan if your current host or website builder already meets the job. For a move, first use the hosting and migration decision checklist. Affiliate relationships below are unchanged; the calculator applies the same arithmetic to both quotes.
